A copy of "Uncle Morgan's Frolics, second edition, lies open on the sofa, a sheet "variety is charming" has fallen to the floor. On the right, stands Maria Fitzherbert who exclaims "Confusion! have I been [...]-up with a mock-marriage..."; at her feet, open to the title page, is "Who's the Dupe."
