SUMMARY: Print shows the British lion harnessed on one side of "the pit of ruin" and a spanial (for Spain), a cock (for France), a rattlesnake (for America), and a pug dog (for Holland) harnessed on the other side, pulling against each other; a double-headed eagle (for Russia) is standing on solid ground between them, refusing to favor either side.
